If your looking for composite toe cap try the magnum shield wpi boots.
-
No, no toe cap or shank, just all leather.
-
Do these boots have composite hard toe and composite anti-puncture shank?
-
@JimiJack13 Wow man, thank you very much!
i'll have to keep them clean because otherwise they'll force me to do all the stuff in my own clothes for a week, and that's alot of washing clothes :P
i'll look forward to that video, hope im getting my payment soon so i can buy these more than awesome boots!
-
@JimiJack13 Thank you :)
well, the schooling is very much infantry orientated, lots of walking/running with the boots and also with a 30kg backpack, could the shoes handle the immense stresses that the backpack and long runs do to them?
I see a lot of bad comments about these, but also some very good ones, i'm going to buy them nonetheless, because i believe these boots are very good..,

Snow, rain, mud and wet grass tested. Some of the best boots I ever had.

Hey just bought these tonight and i was having doubts about it because they are a little pricey, my standard issue boots being in the british army fuckin suck and after years of wearing them i now have a shock injury to my knee, im hoping these can breath and absorb as well as people say, ill be glad to see the back of the cheap heavy boots we are given. thnx for the video a nice comfort, peace.
In August, i'm going to enter the Dutch army, well it's a pre-army schooling etc.., named safety and workmanship, wich will take 2,5 years to complete.. we get everything free, all the uniforms etc exept for the boots, we have to pay for them ourselves (basically get them ourselves)..
Now here's my question:
are these boots good for all army activities? and how do they compare to standard army boots?
Thanks in advance,
André de Vogel.

@MrAdeVogel First off...good luck!
Second, comparing these to Standard Issue US mil boots:
The Magnum's are way lighter, and more comfortable by far. The waterproofing and breathability would leave the SI boots in the dust as well...my only concern would be for overall abuse potential.

@MrAdeVogel
... The Magnums are made of a softer leather. A plus in the comfort category, but could lead to a longevity compromise. Mine have been put through the ringer in the EMS world three days a week for about a year, and with good care have held up VERY well.
As long as you keep them cleaned off, and polished up, you shouldn't have any problem with the toe box.
Overall, I've been surprised and very satisfied.
Watch for a "one year review" video soon for elaboration! : )
Thanks!
Great Q

would these work as hiking boots?
TheTobyKing 1 year ago
@TheTobyKing Definitely; the grip is great, and the support and flexibility is superb in handling uneven terrain.

I wonder if you got a blem or something, I've never heard of a pair falling apart like that.
Check out my other video for my review of a 10 year old pair of Magnum's I still wear!
