In almost any European countries, delicious pastries and lovely pastry shops are readily accessible. In America, there is nothing save crap cupcakes, doughnuts, brownies, and the occasional (thankfully, I reckon) French pastry shop that a Parisian entrepreneur opens in a large U.S. city.

I used to live in France and ate pastries every day without gaining a pound. I still dream about those and it is so hard to wake up here, in the US knowing that I can't get anything like these anymore :(
