Here is some 8MM film from 1966. We're at the station in Tinley Park, Illinois. Worried about the price of film, the teenage camera man is getting the maximum amount of trains with the smallest film footage.
The audio in this film is from reel-to-reel audio made the same day as the film was made. Because of the short video clips syncing the sound just wouldn't sound good. The last audio clip is of the Geeps that you see on the last train. Enjoy.

  • milw189,

Is Christine a name for the DL109? I haven't heard that before.

  • Boxcab looking thing is an EMC AB6. Built for Rock Island by EMC for use on the Rocky Mountain Rockets. I was able to find that 2 were built, don't know if that is accurate. Thanks for looking at this video. It does bring back memories of a fun day hanging around the station.
