Hi friends, dont`t take it too serious.
Dont`t hesitate, to comment. I know, the sound is awful, but it was supposed to sound like in the old times. And the playing isn`t too bad- is it ?
I was just pointed out to this tune by Denise and I tried to do it a little "old fashioned". I just left off one bit, that I didn`t like.
I played a rhythm-guitar-track and a drumpattern from a simple device.

Thanks for watching and thanks to Denise for showing me this "Arthur Smith Video"

  • thats really good man.. dont worry abt the tone.. it sounds great!

i kinda play this number with my dad.. i just wanna knw wht scales u use.. cz i just wanna do a free improvisation bt cudnt find a scale that fit in perfectly with all the chords.. do u change from using Emaj to the Amaj scale along with chord change.. or just use one scale over all chords? its not possible to just use the C#minor pentatonic over the whole progression is it?

  • hi , sorry - I don`t even know what "scales" are or " pentatonic."

I play everything by ear and autodidactic.

Therefore I just play along what I hear.

  • Thanks to both of you. I really needed that cheer-up cause it seemed, no one of my other youtube listeners liked it.

Anyway- it was fun to learn an play it.

    Greetings Ernst
