Hi. I have Ubuntu as my OS and I have tried to download XP but every time I try it just says that there is an error and I cant figure out why and what else i can do. Any help?
-
@UTLR1 I have the same problem and when I try to install Windows and format the drive it says it cant format it. When I try and install on top of linux it says it has to be formatted to something like "NTSSF". < That is not accurate.
Thanks

If my computer only have linux as the os, what should I do to remove it ans install windows?

@luckydesu Hi luckydesu. Just use your Windows install disc to format the whole drive then install Windows. Should be as simple as that. If you are using a Windows recovery disc I think it'll just take over the whole drive and restore Windows.

so what youre saying i have to have windows somehow already installed ? how can i install windows on top of linux?o.O

@soul4asoul This video just shows how to go back to an existing Windows install. But if you want to do a fresh Windows install and wipe out Linux (can't imagine why lol) just let the Windows installer format the entire disc. That will wipe Linux and everything from the drive and you'll have Windows only.

Great video. You're the first person to actually go through the whole process and actually explain each step. Quick question though: Once you do this will Windows be exactly how it was before with all of your files and everything. Sorry, I'm really a noob when it comes to this kind of stuff.
