Good tip. After dieing twice (the last one I died in the air and had to get rez sickness) I decided to check wowhead and it pointed me to this video. The only thing I disagree with...is if you're horde, don't fly to where he does at the end :P

I take it back. I see the flaw now. You're okay as long as you have some kind of buff that protects you from normal attacks, but my warlock does not. And although I was able to avoid his volley easily, he still used his normal attacks to shoot me off the dragons back before I could finish him.

I've always stayed really close to him and used the same rotation as you until the dragon died and then I finished him off with my own spells and weapons. But that was with my plate wearers. My spellcasters cant do that, so I'm glad I found this video.
