  • great interview. i've always enjoyed LKW's work as much as i've enjoyed Lau Kar Leung's work. is it me or does Kar Wing not get the props he deserves like how his brother does? they both are legends. when they fight each other on screen (Challenge of the Masters, Legendary Weapons of China) it looks different from anybody else fighting. i guess that they know each other's moves so well that they can put it in a higher gear. props to you, vonhumboldtfleischer.

  • he 's the man..the best.. i love quite a few but he's awesome..he choreographed mostly ..but also starred in some of the greatest fight scenes with some of the best

  • Lau Kar Wing........ Truly the most underrated choregorapher/director in Hong Kong Cinema history...

From The Boxer from Shantung, through King Boxer......to The Odd Couple and the somewhat forgotten Treasure Hunters.........

And I sit here now and refute anyone....... and I do mean ANYONE, to say his performance in Legendary Weapons Of Kung Fu wasn't perhaps the best all round acting/fighting performance ever........ truly a man who sits as comfortably behind the camera as in front of it....

  • @tonyvalente - Because it's an interview from the dvd of King Boxer (5 Fingers of death) starring Lo Lieh. LKW was the action director.

  • One of the best ever. Loved his performance in Shaolin Mantis and Legendary Weapons Of China.

  • Kung Pow is my favorite movie. And as much as I love Wimp Lo, I feel bad that LKW got made to look like a fool. I never realized how awesome he was until I saw Challenge of the Masters.

  • Big Up to Lau Kar Wing.. I have been a fan & enjoyed his work since Mad Monkey Operation Scorpion.... He's also played a Drunkard Master In Challenge of the Masters. Excellent Skills... Alot of these Artists don't get the props they deserve. Well, they were mostly kept alive in circulation on 42nd.st. in NYC & me & my crew never grew tired of the Arts.... Thank you for sharing the Art & Discipline.

    Much Respect Do.....

  • 4:23... was that the "why I ought-ta" guy from "Tiger & Crane Fists" and "Kung Pow?"

  • u would think they learn english by now lol

  • why in the hell did they show lo lee in the begining

  • A true legend.

  • wong fei hung was the grandmaster of hung gar and he was one of the best fighters in china during his time.
