Farewell Cloudy

Cloudy, a 16.2hh thoroughbrd, that lived his life to the max. He will be missed dearly. Cloudy's age is still unknown to me, but I am geussing late 20s.

On Saturday/Friday Cloudy's owner came to come pick him up, ready to go to a retirement, where he will spent the rest of his old life until he passes on his own time.

I was happy that I got to say goodbye, and tell him that I love him forever and what he has done for me.

Cloudy gave me the confidence to go higher, he taught me so many things over the time I rode him. I fell in love with Cloudy and his ways, he truely left a mark in my heart, and he will definatly never be forgotten.
He got me back into riding and he always sticked up and gave me so many more chances.

Cloudy, I know will miss the riding school, he made so many new friends, espically with Jon and Ruby. It is going to be so sad to not see his tack in the tack room.. his halter in the halter hangers, or his rug on the wall, or even him in the paddock. But I geuss hes off to a better place, where he will be free with another few horses.

He'll always be remembered as the calm skinny horse. And I hope, he enjoys being free, eating all day. And, I hope his arthritus doesn't get so bad that he has to be put down.

Cloudy will be missed by all the people he was ridden, and by karren.

So for now Cloudy... Goodbye. Until we meet again. You will always be remembered.

it's always hard when a loved horse is retired.I can still remember many of the horses from my early riding days and will never forget them.Hopefully they are all happy where they are now or have gently passed on.Beautiful tribute to your dear friend.God bless him and may you have fond memories.

He was around 32 when they retired him, he was born in 1976, well we think ne way. And he isn't my horse, so it wasn't my choice. But personally, if i was the owner, i would've a lot earlier, he ahs gotten very old, he started getting arthritus, and soemtimes would jsut randomally fall down. He was a lovely horse, but sadly, he jsut couldn't keep up anymore, he was very underweight too.
