That fish is a hero. I would've let it go out of respect. It actually jumped straight at the fisherman with all its might like a brave opponent fighting with everything he's got to survive. How can one take the life of one so brave?

The problem or lets say a mistake. The fish is not exhausted because the line is so tight and the fish comes to the top quickly without any fight. They should have this fish tired by fighting with it instead of getting it quickly to the top with a tight line. This is why the barracuda jumped, it has still power to do so. A good fisher always fight with a big fish before getting it to the boat. There are other risks than jumping.

I remember seeing this happen on rescue 911, except the lady got bit like 10 or so times in a split second. dont remember details other than it jumped into boat and bit her in the chest

damn thats awsome. ive caught alot of cuda. im surprised this doesnt happen more often. but theres no way that is 40lb. i refuse to believe thats 40lb.
