stupid enviro's, they don't seem to realize that the computer that they are using contains GOLD, PLATINUM that most likely came from us gold prospectors. If they do not want us feeding the fish and making life better, they better go crawl in a deep hole and not use anything that is on the market that contains metal. LOL,, crazy people.

It has been proven that dredges actually remove mercury from the waterways along with lead, gold and other heavy metals. The winter run off is the only violator that contaminants the rivers every year. Are we going to arrest mother nature for her annual cleansing? Gold is at its highest point ever and these ignorant environmentalist dont have a clue. It was gold that made this country strong so back off and let preospectors repair what politicians and environmentalist have destroyed...

Let me see... You break up compacted gravel allowing silt to wash away, leaving clean fresh gravel beds that fish can use for spawning, and you remove mercury and lead from our rivers and streams, and that somehow is an environmental crime?

dredging has been proven to remove lead murcury and other heavy metals from the streems. I bet the enviro nazies wouldnt mind dredging if you kept the junk and put back the gold.

@lcalarea47 How does dredging do more damage than a flood or even the Winter run offs which effect the ENTIRE river? I'm just in a tiny portion of a river making a small hole AND feeding the fish, oxygenating the stream and providing areas for spawning. The Winter runoffs fill my holes evey year. Your just a typical enviromentalist that has been told lies to further there agenda and religion (control). Happy New Year!
