This is a v3 HD Promo test. We shot it for the Biggest Loser TV show. The sequences were captured in HD using a v3 parallax scanning AX2 equipped Angenieux 26x zoom lens. v3 parallax scanning encodes three-dimensional information into standard HD/SD imaging in a manner that will appear more dimensional when displayed on a standard screen. An additional method has been developed that allows v3 imagery to appear "quazy" 3D when viewed using stereoscopic means. The v3 imagery is presented to two both eyes using a 3D display or as in the case here via anaglyph glasses, creating a 3D illusion using imagery captured with a v3 lens on a single camera. We call this process v3 Squared™.

YOU WILL NEED A PAIR OF RED/BLUE ANAGLYPH GLASSES TO VIEW THIS TEST IN 3D.

    I would love to do more of these promos with you guys. Check out the The Tea Party example on our channel. It is a good example of the level of dimensional quality we can achieve in a normal 2D image. The Newseum example is the level of quality we can achieve in a stereoscopic (3D) manner. The flowers example is one camera stereoscopic v3 Squared mode like the promo we did with you. Glad you liked it. Take care.
