I panicked this morning when my little Missy began behaving in a very similar way but also dragging herself along the floors of two rooms. I honestly thought her back legs were paralysed but thanks to the Net and your video I can't help but giggle now =))

Ok this explains why my male cat keeps pawing at the door a female cat has been hanging around the house. I had the door open and they were talking threw the burglar bars making weird sounds the female cat was doing the same thing and my cat, i never seen him acting crazy. He almost never wants to go outside, so he as always started marking his territory,,AND NO I DID NOT LET THEM AS TEDDY SAYS IN HIS SONG LETS GET IT ON!!

I remember when my mom's cat went into heat...she used to act like that. Only she would come up to me when i was trying to do my homework and rub her head against my shoes and make this creepy purring/meowing noise. And, of course, howl down the hall at one in the morning. We tried to keep her in, but she got out one day. Three days (and one frantic, sobbing mommy) later, she came home pregnant. But it was all good. We got to keep one of the kittens, who now tortures her mommy mercilessly.

@1112Hades Are you kidding!? The shelters are FULL of animals that are no longer wanted, and litters of kittens and puppies....they will never die out when there are so many unwanted ones already. It's far more responsible to spay/neuter your cats, as they come and go where they please. Dogs not so much so...though a dog with no nuts is far more contented, and will not stray.
