Do you remember Thomas Edison and how he worked? He would get an idea, go immediately to the laboratory and start working. That's how he learnt.
That's how innovators, inventors, scientists and children learn. They build. Watch the kids. Any environment you put the kids in, they start playing with things. They put things together and they try them. That's how they learn.
And that's how we teach at our Kids Invent! Holiday Camps. It's a very natural process. It's a process that innovators and scientists use. But as soon as we go into a classroom, we forget that process and go back to what doesn't work.
