Trip to Lynton where Mick Cawston was known for his artwork. A drive through the area and some of his artwork that are painting in places like The Crown as being one of the places Mick loved.

  • Just to add some extra info all these pictures are from the crown pub in lynton and also outside the shop where his stuido use to be .there is also some picture in the green cafe they named a room after him i think called the cawston room where some orignals pictures hang.i hope that is of some interest mike volante

  • This small clip is about my friend Mick Cawston who was one of the Great painters of his generation.Saddly Mick is with us no more the world will Miss his Talent and I will miss my friend.

  • @RIDDICKorigional have you any idea who shepard and rackham are? they were inspirations for Mick. I read it in the second edition book. I can only find Jonathan Walker and im guessing by Potter it meant Beatrix

  • Sadly i sold off all my Mick Cawston work except one "HIS LORDSHIP" which were the very last ever to be signed by the artist. I have the very last one ltd ed number 520/520 so i presume this was Mick's last ever signature before leaving us.

    A great artist i loved Mick's style!!!

  • Was a very big shock to see Mick had passed away. Used to see mick alot in the coopers arms pub Chadwell Heath. When we were teenagers. He was a very good friend and loved by everyone. Will Miss him very much. xx
