this one because the led version has alot of problems with it some of the leds would burn out or none of them would work at all American Dj came out with there own and it doesnt just chase at chases in differnt patters like backword,forward,or red and green or yellow or blue and lots more

do the non-LED ones have a duty cycle? or can I run them like 5+ hours straight? (besides the fact that they get hot)

You think thats good, try the LED Version! I love it! $70.00 USD. So worth it. I highly recommend it for house party's and mobile DJ's.

how long do the bulbs last for?

@eidomadeh I've had the light for 3 years and it's had some long hours on it and I haven't had any problem with bulb changing. So I'd say somewhere around 3 years maybe, depends on how much you use it.

@eidomadeh Yes, I'd go with the LED's. I regret getting the one I have. The bulbs get extremely hot and that's dangerous to people who like to screw around with your lighting at gigs, so definently go with the LED's. They are linkable as well, this one isn't.
