It's pretty racist, the U.S. has had a loooooooong history of genocide and hatred for natives, so this is nothing new.

I just want to say, that I found out recently that Noah Kelly, the writer of the article is no longer at the UW. I don’t know the details but according to the UW’s facebook the paper itself almost got shut down. The whole thing did get blown way, way, way out of proportion but then again that was the point of writing such an inflammatory article right? To be trite and glib and superior and get people to talk about it. Well good job, and good job in almost getting yourselves shut down, u twits.

@americanindiantv Your peoples land? Really?What ppls would those be? Because most tribal land is disputed between tribes. I am of Apache, Lakota, and white ancestory, but just because my grandfather went into debt and sold his huge plantation, I should get it back because of my ancestors? I lived on Lakota resorvations and I decided not to become a drunk guy who whined about the past 24-7! I went to college and LEARNED history, and got my PHD in Zoology! Oh, the white man really kept me down!

Everything about your comment offends me. I can tell you that you are rude. I can write that what you probably know about indigenous culture could fill a pin head.
You know what else, I don't have to or need to "settle down". I don't have to do anything you say to do.
