This replicate what many has done in Energeticfoum, Imhotep oscillator thread. You can light up neon with one wire of coil secondary. You can make it brighter by grounding it or if your coil do not share the negative, by rerouting it to the primary part.

  • Yes, I don't believe that electron are orbitting proton and then jump around to make electricity.

  • Interesting, kind of makes you wonder about the electron theory concept, that states a return path is needed, but if it lights up without a return path, then surely electrons must still be flowing, assuming it is electrons lighting it, otherwise the electron theory may be a bit at least incorrect, but one wonders.
