Hannibal was a rescue fish, so not entirely sure how old he is, but from the information i got given he is about 10 years old now and still going strong, as for his size he was kept in a small tank for the best part of 5 years and did not grow past 6" but as soon as he went from that to his 300litre he grew at a dramatic rate and now measures 31cm in length.... but it normally takes about 4 years given the right environment and enough space for them to grow to full size :)
