the process is: dissolve the fertilizer into cold water. filter it let it stand for 24 hours, boil it down and then u have pure amonium nitrate right? it worked fairly for me, but i dont know how to remove the calcium, which is gathering at the bottom of the water that i let stand outside for 24 hours do i have to refilter it or what ? its not a high impurity, but i can sense the slightly brown color in the amonium nitrate.

! In the movie ther is some sand in the bottom . It should be at room temperature, when you wait 24 hours. if you keep it in your fridge, the ammoniumnitrate will crystallize on the botton... so keep it in room temperature! I hope I understand you correctly

@randomguy983 you can buy it at a motor store. i think its called a motor store :P. they have battery acid. its about 40% sulfuric acid i think, but you can boil it down to concentrate it. But WARNING, this is very poisonus so you have to do it in a fumehood, or outside and stay away from the fumes. i never did this but i´m pretty sure it works.
