i love this interview, and how they talk about what they went through with Richey's disappearance. I love how nicky was like "I've never taken, y'know, drugs except for paracetamols and stuff". lol, paracetamols are fever reducers.
anyway, wherever he is, I hope Richey is happy.

really great interview

@joydivided23 You're question was emotionally laden and evocative so you shud expect a heratfelt reaction. Although possible future outcomes are difficult to visualise i think i can give a good analogy with this. Asking whether the manics wud've been more successful with Richey staying in the band or leaving is like God asking a person before they're born: Do you think you'll be more successful in life with one arm or two? It only makes sense to say with two (Richey).
-
@joydivided23 I was simply asking a question because many people have divided on it, even the band.
However, I do agree with you.
You don't have to insult me and call me a "dimwit" though.
-
@TorysApollo Obviously they would've achieved more success dimwit because they would've had an amazing lyricist/friend as well as all the musicianship skills that propelled them through Everything Must Go onwards
-
Would they have achieved the same amount of success if he stayed? Do you think.
(Slightly inappropriate but I want Nicky's clockwork orange hoodie!!!)

This is the best interview Nicky, Sean (infact the only interview on Sean's behalf) and Jame's have took part in, talking about Richey.
I love the Manics and they thoroughly deserved this award, there's no-one else like Manics, Richey Era and beyond.
I just hope that Richey is happy wherever he is right now.

they're almost whispering, it's irritating!!
Did you expect them to be boisterous about the fact their best friend went missing?
