    Exactly Peter's point, money should have become obsolete by now, it was useful for a time, but not anymore. I imagine all advanced civilizations in this universe go through similar phases to ours.

    actually, "these people" are note for ANY political party. they believe that system to be out dated. it's hard to let go of that paradigm, i know, but you have to try if you want to REALLY understand this.

    Everyone being able to have everything possible in the universe is more than likely impossible, certainly for the foreseeable future.

    Because of this, money exists, and will have to. Money is just the value attributed to the things out there. It's just a means to facilitate trade between those things.
