Islam does not value human life like the West, so it is hard to understand. Women in the West value themselves irregardless of if they are virgins or not. Even though rape is not desirable to Western women, it does not make one an outcast as it does in Islamic society. Strangely, rape victims are sometimes killed by their own family to restore their honor. In Islam two wrongs do make a right. You restore your honor by killing infidel or in this case, those who are Muslim but not Sunni.
