@truesouljs Because the government owns shares in the pharmaceutical companies, and the tax payer pays for your "free" methadone, which also has VAT added to it, thus, the more they can get people off illegal drugs (which they don't proffit from) and into an legal addiction, the more tax payers will have to pay for an addicts "treatment", which means more people will pay the government VAT, and the more the government's shares in the medicine companies will be worth.

Methadone is Far more difficult to quit due to it having been "engineered" Purposely, to have an extended half-life which makes quitting nearly impossible. The goal is not to "HELP" people, but to Profit from them while claiming they're curbing street crime which they've ENABLED

@zeroTJseven Why wouldnt the governoment make drugs legal then? Itd be the simplest way to get the money out of the drugs. Maybe you could have something like a test or something which shows that a person isnt addicted and severely fucked up, so they can get the drug safe, pure, and cheap.

@truesouljs coool good luck on your travels with your script and i dont pay for mine either or i would if i had to work 7.40 per perscription also ive been on methadone script since late 90s after i become addicted to pain killers started on codine ended up on morphine pethadine well most strong opiates , so in end i use methadone for 2 reasons pain relif an addiction problems peace

@uk7roomdaddy I live in Ireland. Every wednesday I get a one week prescription from my doctor & bring it to a chemist. I'm on methadone over 2 years & have never had to pay for it. Peace.
