Definitely the best version of this piece I've ever heard. Canadian pianist André Laplante is an amazing artist, and his Ravel is phenominal.

Could you also upload the rest of Laplante's Miroirs (I especially want to hear La vallée des cloches) as well as Jeux d'eau? I would really like to hear them; that would be fantastic!

@Jenck Surely an impressionistic artistic goal has been achieved if you experienced these images. :) I too find this version very evocative, Laplante is one of the best Ravel interpreters for sure.

261 likes and 0 dislikes :) I've been listening to this interpretation for ca. 2 years now and it never gets old. Just too gorgeous. Really, when Laplante plays, "the piano vanishes and music appears", as Liszt was described back then. Sheer delirium. I can't thank you enough for posting this.
