so much better than all the conciet we have to put up with these days, i mean the likes of plastic kate and fibre glass pete, this dude had real talent and a big heart ,, God bless you mate ,, maybe the media would have done to Hovis what they did to Susan Boyle ,, vulnerability smells like blood to the sick press,,

I think he had the chance to be better known but panicked and fled! A newspaper described him as "pathologically unambitious" in his obituary. I think he might have agreed!

seems like we all listen to radio 4!! why wasn't this man more "public" when he was alive? what a waste - what a fab talent!

I can't believe I hadn't heard of Hovis Presley till I was listening to Radio 4 driving into work last week....the man was a genius, and is sorely missed by one who never had the chance to see him for real.
