@hawanja For a fella who claims not to be an Objectivist, justintempler certainly keeps an interesting set of preferred Randroid videos in his profile. This guy is a total liar and a proselytizer who only seems interested in turning this comments section as a soapbox.

@justintempler Actually, I am a former member of the LP. It was where my initial interest in politics began while in college but OK. Look up a professor by the name of Ray Pullium at CACC in central Alabama and ask him about some dude named Matthew Price. You'll see that when I troll, I don't hide behind the anonymity of the internet.

Justin Templer has been owned once again, the sad old man.

I have responded to your comments in a personal message to your inbox. I couldn't fit what I had to say into these 500 word boxes. If anyone is interested is seeing this discussion, send me a message.

@Activeassholeonpills "yes I am trolling and you fell into it. "
I suspected you were trolling after your first comment. That's why I searched out your comments, I especially like the part where you "claimed" to be a member of the Libertarian Party 4 years ago. and where you give out your "supposed" home address in Alabama and call people pussies and challenge them to face you in person.
Enjoy your time being hawanja's channel mascot.

@hawanja "So how long exactly did you study Objectivisim? A couple of hours? "
It's that kind of insulting banter that demonstrates you aren't interested in having a discussion with someone especially within the confines of blocks of 500 characters. You're more interested in pwnage and insults and enjoying the company of trolls like Activeassholeonpills who seems to be a fixture on your channel.
@hawanja
Free healthcare/welfare is nice, but is it sustainable and is it morally correct to impose this on the taxpayers? You can occupy/take over a country for resources, but now neighboring countries will hate you leading to terrorism. Please let me know your thoughts. Hopefully we can continue a civilized discussion.

@3BANX Yes, it is morally correct when said taxpayers give consent through their elected officials. When you have a system that everyone agrees to abide by and a mandate to collect taxes and distribute services gained though a majority vote of the population it is perfectly moral. It is even moral to declare war on another country through said system (although the war and reasons for it itself may be immoral.) The point is, the system is not immoral, just the people who exploit it are.

@hawanja
But bottom line: don't take offense to the philosophy.
It seems like you are a decent human being who serves other and provides societal good in various ways (art and youtube videos). However, I believe that an objectivist view should be taken in business and politics, namely seeking policies that support long-term, rational interests.

@3BANX Well yes I agree with that, it's a great philosophy to run a business by. But when it's applied towards other areas of life - relationships, leisure, education, treating other people like human beings and not animals to be exploited, etc - that's where I see the shortcomings. I really do think that one of the major failings of mankind is our incapacity or unwillingness to view issues from the other person's perspective. Objectivisim doesn't even try, and for that I have to reject it.
