Cool to see these vids. I was at RLA from Jan of 94 to June of 96 - a little after these vids were shot. My last name is Taylor and I was in Butler, Chippewa and Niagara houses over my time there. I was the I/C of Niagara by the end of my stay. If you're comfortable saying, who are you?

pretty pathetic excuse for uniforms. I don't know why they don't have a retired or reserve canadian forces officer or NCM do the drill or leadership role. those men in their silly looking faux-military uniforms are pretty disgraceful to our country's great military history.

your comment is pathetic, as you lack all the facts.
RLA, despite patronage by the rich and powerful, did not have an unlimited budget. So the uniforms weren't tailored by Armani. Our staff included RMC Graduates, former Airborne Regiment NCO's,and Army Reservists. The drill was supervised by an Airborne veteran, and headed by students as part of our leadership development. Perhaps it wasn't perfect, as if you could do better.
We were a credit to Canada's Military History, et tu?
