i havent shot slugs yet but i can only imagine da kick behind em , shit da 1st time i shot my shotty i waz shooting 2 3/4 00buck and damn u know da rest

The Remington Premier Accutip slugs and the copper solid slugs are both SABOT SLUGS meant for a rifled barrel. That shotgun has a smoothbore which is meant to shoot the cheaper RIFLED SLUGS. You're wasting money by shooting sabots in a smoothbore because rifled slugs will be much more accurate.

Just picked that boo-yah up today! I love the carbon weave body. Wife thinks its too damn big lol. Just for home defense mainly . I set it up, first two rounds 00 buck. if that don't do the trick, its 1 0z. slugs till shes empty. Hope it don't get that far cuz that shit would zip right through my neighbors too.. sheesh! Maybe id better take them slugs out.

On the subject of slugs: you're not worried about overpenetration? Those slugs could easily go through to the next room, or worse, the next house.
I would think that 00 buck would be just fine for HD, that's what I go with. It's like being hit with 9 .36 cal bullets at once.

@USAon3 NOT REALLY, BECAUSE I USE THE GAUGE ONLY FOR MY PLACE OF BUSINESS, OTHER THAN THAT I HAVE A SEVERAL HANDGUNS AT HOME... ALONG WITH A FEW RIFLES.
