Some high power arcs with a HV transformer wound on the core of a TV diode split transformer, with ~750 turns of 0.3mm wire.
The transformer is driven by a ZVS driver. It draws more than 30 amps at 39 volts (above 1200 watts...).
I suggest the output power to be around 1kW. The secondary of the transformer has an ohmic resistanc of only 13 ohms. A diode split transformer of a TV has about 3000 ohms.
After this arcing, the transformer was just warm (about 40°C). A DST would have been destroyed after a couple of seconds.
