amitava1988 - In Indian Classical Music there is no word 'VERSES', just Jugalbandi between two or more artists. If you can change the title it would be more gentile. It feels that they are adversaries rather than friends.

Have to instruct my family to play this when I am passing away from this world.. Ustad Bismillah Khan, Ustad Vilayat Khan, Pandit Samta Prasad - sharing a stage - it would have been a concert to give a life for..

@manafa7 - Pandit Shanta Prasad was the tabla player and yes he bridges the notes that are offered on the Sitar and then the Shehnai.
This kind of music seems old fashioned but it takes one away to a fantastic journey. When the music stops it brings you back to reality with a jolt.

you are abs right! there is no versus!!

@penta15786 Agree - Jugalbandi is a meaningfull and creative dialogue between two masters of art. There is no versus between the two. The masters are not proving their skills nor flaunting it. They are so engrossed in the creative process of making music that nothing else matters to them except resonding through their instruments to each other. This is sheer magic from the two legends ever. One should not forget that the Tabla is the great mediator between them.

GREAT TIMELESS INSTRUMENTAL. It heard it decades back - when I was a child. Thanks for the upload. I was dying to listen it AGAIN. THIS IS ONE OF THE INSTRUMENTALS I WANT TO LISTEN WHEN I AM ON DYING. USTAAD BISMILLAH KHAN IS MY ROLE MODEL- WITH SIMPLE LIVING & DISCIPLINED & CREATIVE LIFE...
