@dmosier its because the stiffneck is used in emergency situations while the philadelphia one is used as a neck brace for recovery

The proper name of this brace is a Philadelphia Collar, and was produced by the Philadelphia Collar Company for more than 20 years.
It is now referred to as the Philadelphia Tracheotomy Collar is produced by the Ossur Orthopedics Company, Aliso Viejo, California.
While it is still in use in many Emergency Departments world wide, the majority of Ambulance/Paramedic services have switched over to the StiffNeck brand of C-Spine immobilization devices.
PS I am missing some other items....???

Anyway, gotta go now.... I'm off to do some mountain-climbing-scuba-kayak-camping. CYA.
