Guantanamo = Auschwitz?!?
Wow great reflection about history. putting the us mistakes on the same level with Auschwitz seems to be very ignorant to me. But there a still people who tries to compare things to reduce their feeling of responsibility of things their grandfathers has to answer to. There is no comparison ever in human history to what the Nazis did.It's simply stupid to compare a war with 60 mio. killed people including a genocide out of our minds.

@emtec2111 Which country is the most hatred on the planet today? Bingo fucking USA. Which is the most loved country on the planet today? Bingo Germany, last two years in a row (result of a poll done by the BBC-England). Your country is acting since the WW2 like Hitler did in the past. Your country started so many illegal wars and killed innocent people. The Germans learned from their mistakes but you brainless Americans aren´t able to do so. Your holocaust will always be Guantanamo Bay.

@NickWick86 No buddy.Not every Nazi was a German. For example many people from East Europe were also Nazis, they worked in the concentration camps (Ukranians,Romanians...., ) (Nazis is the synonym for nationalists) Today the US for example is in my view a Nazi state, but they use the term ,,patriot" instead.It´s pretty much the same.

Just a bit of food for thought : the German generals who did oppose Hitler including Rommel, didn't oppose him on moral or ethical grounds or because of the extermination camps, just on the fact that that his insane strategy was losing them the war. The Wehrmacht was complicit in most of the atrocities.

Wow, way to shamelessly dance around a 13 second subject with 2 minutes and 10 seconds of completely unrelated shenanigans.

but everyone in the movie is german so why put on a german accent? It's like you'd do a movie which takes place in China and the actors would talk with an accent, you know what I mean?
If there's a single person in a movie who's foreign than it makes sense, but not if everyone is speaking the same language.

That wasnt valkrie u idiot that was a completey differnt film called inglorious bastards. the Hitler in that film wore a cap.

Actaully the Hitler had a germanic accent in the film and i thought all the actors were good in it and it was funny seeing so many English actors playing nazis officers.

The Nazi holocaust could have (unfortunately) happened in any country with the right set of circumstances - hence it's a human problem. I'm a brit, but to assume that German's are somehow cruel is rediculous - there was a fair amount of anti semitism in the UK and certainly the US at the time. Does the accent really matter?
