What is so wonderful about this song is not only the beautiful melody, but also the feeling that the singers have put into it AND the way in which the actors have embodied it, so that we feel that it is Nutan and Dev Anand who are singing even tho' we are perfectly aware that it is sung by Lata and Rafi ...!

hey bellztoll , i hope you are fine but I would beg to disagree . Rafi sahab reigns the song throughout ; he is the priceless find on Indian music ; Unfortunately not every1 knows of his greatness. for his greatness one has to listen his songs with immense debth only then once testifies to the statement "Rafi sahab is rafi sahab' he has not substitute. His harkats , voice , taans , alaaps and sur. waah waah.
