http://www.hecklerfabrication.com/ The Highbanker / power sluice, 8ft, built by Heckler fabrication will easily move 15+ gallons of material per minute! THATS OVER 4.5 CUBIC YARDS AN HOUR!! The Highbanker is also easily slowed down to run 5 gallons of material per minute. The Highbankers hopper angle is completely adjustable,as well as the 6 legs to give an almost unlimited angle to increase/decrease velocity! The hopper on this Highbanker is large and strong so feeding with a mini excavator is hassle free. It comes w/ 2 sets of 3/4" riffles [11 riffles per run] w/ slickplates in front of each set for improved vertical stratification allowing the values to get to the bottom of the slurry away from the faster moving upper laminar flow, which deposits them directly into the vortex areas of each riffle for a much better recovery. Even with a 3/4" riffle this design does not have any problem recovering the fine gold [ fine as 100mesh and smaller] due to the design and spacing of the riffles the gold is forced down into the miners moss which sits on ribbed rubber mat to keep the fines from migrating down the box. This scaled down design is based around the multiple Clarkson riffle studies done for the production mining operations in the Yukon territories. years of testing has enabled us to provide a product that performs far more efficiently than you can imagine . with over 60 yrs combined experience with mining you can be sure your getting the best recovery possible with one of our Highbanker units! Thanks for watching our video, and stay tuned for a video of our new smaller Highbanker and also a better video for the 8ftr! Also in the works is a dry land dredge option for both Highbanker units!

  • I love to look of your equipment...but your prices are higher than i like. None the less i am still looking forward to purchasing one of your highbanker sluice's some day soon

  • Your equipment is tits up for sure congrats and keep up the good work!

  • @rcsupercubbuilder probably should have mentioned this in the video but it has a modular design that enables riffle sections to be moved around in the box and interchanged with other styles that are offered, so it can be changed to work with just about any type of situation you can think of! the highbanker breaks down to a movable size in about a minute, with a bigwheel option coming soon for easy location change.

  • @rcsupercubbuilder yep it aint easy gettin both styles to work proper @ the same time, thats why were workin on a new smaller version of our riffles to use instead of expanded. They are proving quite time consuming but should be worth it [i hope]!

  • @HecklerFabrication I used 1 and 1/4 inch angle iron stock. I was running my dads super highvolume 3 inch pump at approx 275 min- 375 max gpm(i know this was not enough) and spaced 2, 2.5 and 3 inch differneces. 2inch works fine. 2.5 inch is pushing the limit like the study says. 3 inch did not work. Also i had the expanded metal on the same run with the angle iron, and the expanded metal worked ok for the high volume but i turned it down until they worked and the angle iron stopped working.

  • @rcsupercubbuilder We are indeed working on an option of a smaller version [say1/4"ish] of these riffles that "should" outperform the expanded which really does not have as much holding area as I would like. The early tests show a vast improvement in the ability to not scour themselves clean. A larger amount of thru-put seems to not load them up like the expanded does. but that has yet to be tested @ the volume that this highbanker can move, so i could be talkin outa my butt right now

  • Yep, I've read that, but these are not angle iron riffles, they are a 10g.-custom broke piece that works [in my opinion] better than angle iron even on the small stuff! but I would like any other info you may have, what was the spacing of the riffles and height of them?water volume and velocity ? size pump for that wiiide box? ANY PICS?? love to see em!

  • Hey fellow miners the website will be done SOON, Thanks for the patience!

  • NICE!!!!!! Great music, I wanted to get right in there and help feed the thing!
