Emotiv Epoc Laser Muscle Control Test and Target Practice

Control of the laser is accomplished via muscle control using an Emotiv Epoc, Emokey, and the Epoc control panel. When I blink hyperterminal sends a 'l' to the arduino hooked up to the servo which turns left. When I smile it send an 'r' to the arduino and the laser turns right. I know I know, I said thought control, but I wanted to make it move. Oh ya, the servo and arduino are from sparkfun.com.

Thanks for the description. From the title and the video itself one might think that you are tapping into the hand muscle control (which isn't something EPOC is capable of doing afaik) but in fact it's facial expressions. Great video!

wow!!! dam i got to get one of these. so did you have the program run to go out the computer ports so that you can control the servo?? you should add an "on" "off" function lol. great work! will be sweet one day in a futuristic humanoid robotic suit!
