Japanese Railways are clean. Unlike the US urban trains are littered with garbage from animals that urinate and graffiti all over the place.

A short ride from Tokyo to Akihabara cost 150 yen(approximately US $2)
With this amount of money ,you can even take the longest journey in the whole MTR systems in Hong Kong ^ ^.

Well, people don't take the Shinkansen every day. These commuter lines, ones that people need to take every day, are certainly affordable.

I agree.I like the melodies before and after the trains arrive. Its so cool to hear them because thats when you really feel you're in Tokyo.
