You can conform the frame-rate to 25fps in Cinema Tools without any re-encoding at all. That does mean that your clips are marginally slow-motion, and as a result sound will sound slowed - but with a dialogue-free clip like this it's not a problem. The edit is done in Final Cut Pro, with a timeline that renders in Pro-Res. Alternatively, just drop a clip on the timeline, and let Final Cut (6+ I think) automatically adjust settings.
I see that you conformed the framerate from 30 to 25fps. This is something i still don't know how it works.
Did u first converted the h.264 codec to much better editable file? and than conformed the framerate? Or is it also possible to do that in the h.264 file?
