no problem, it was truly a moment i will always remember, i just hope everyone could be able to experience that! p.s. i am only 14, i hope there will still be those "monsters" in the lake when i can take my kid(s) out!
@MrFiskeFilm Thanks for the info. I tried Tuff Line about 15 yrs ago for ice fishiing and was impressed. I will try it again and do a comparison of my own. I haven't tried strike wire. Was out a few days ago and my guests got a 46 incher. Going out today with another guest looking for a trophy. Whitefish are staging for their spawning if a few weeks. Pike are dialing into them.
@kgearypikeman in the latest test of fishing lines here in Sweden pp came third in abrasion resistance, second was strike wire and first was tuff line.
Tuff Line XP is the most abrasion resistant, thinest and strongest braid on the marked
@SG1MAX Congratulations. It must have been a few years back. We used smelt a lot back when I was a kid. caught thousand of big pike on em. Smelt have been illegal in Ontario for many years. But it was too late to stop the smelt from getting into many lakes. I've been using suckers for the last 15 years they work very well. I wish you continued good luck.
@sammcglaunrocketmail Congratulations. Many big pike are caught while walleye fishing. In my new DVD HTCGP3 I have some very interesting methods for catching big pike consistently based on the walleye equation.
@punklives01 Thanks for you comments. I like Power Pro because of it's exceptional abrasion resistance. I use 20lb for my walleye fishing and have had hundreds of pike take my walleye offering. I've very very seldom been bit off even without a leader. I have found it better than spider wire and fireline.
@xUnbeatabl3x Congratulations. That is a great memory to have. Remember to take a kid fishing so they can have the same memories.
One of the motivations to producing this DVD was to increase peoples chances of catching and landing one of those "fish or a lifetime". Thanks for your comments.
What do you usually use to catch those monsters?
