This is my first slapstick I created with some friends. The story is quite simple: The main character (me) sits in his chair, enjoying his beautiful sunday afternoon, until he gets disturbed by 2 bullies he can't see. Then the shot zooms out and the 2 bullies appear on screen, and just when the main character almost has the bullies, the screen zooms back in and he can't see them anymore. This goes on for quite some time, with burning newspapers, pouring water and destroying radio's. This until the main character has had enough and has his revenge on the bullies. I won't spoil the fun so just watch the movie!
Haha geweldig. Ik heb echt in een deuk gelegen om dit filmpje. Heb je nog meer van zulke onzin?

I had to watch it a second time, in full screen mode, and read the text first, before it made any sense; but then I saw the light and it really is entertaining. Most films from the silent era AFAIK were strongly narrative, by which I mean "what you see is meant to be real". The physical screen barrier, and relating the zoom level to whether one char can see the others is a whole new development in cinema! I needed the text to get it. Lots of good gags flowing speedily on - value for money!
