Reading the Quran i have found verses that incite ppl to violence. Just look at the sharia law (based on Quran) enforced in MOST of the muslim countries which clearly states that non muslims must pay additional taxes and apostates (converts) to be killed. In Pakistan i have witnessed increasing cases of violence against non mulsims (u can google them) even though there is no sharia law. I am from Pakistan

Quran 60:8,9 Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.

I think the best thing is to study Islam , rather than just believing what you watch on media and taught by others.Islam totally condemns any kind of violence and gives the lesson of Peace because Islam is Arabic word means 'Peace'. If u really want to understand Islam u must go through Muslims scholars and read their books . Read the translation of Quran in english first.

i am going tell you a story about our beloved prophet Muhammed (may peace be upon him) one he was sitting under a tree until a non- muslim was walking past he saw the prophet and wanted to try kill him so got his sword out the prophet believed that allah will save him and so allah did the prophet still forgave the non-muslim for trying to kill him so we must be very forgiving too but i cant help myself because there are lots of people wwho write very nasty things about us and our god and prophet
