@coughlinkelly lol you should check out this song called "break my stride" by Matthew wilder for some reason millions of people since 2007 have been convinced that this song was written and performed by an Aussie rock group from the 1980's called Men at Work.Infact when you type in the song title in google and youtube sometimes it actually comes up with them as the artist when that is flatly incorrect.Noone knows who started the lie or how that lie became viral.

@coughlinkelly I'm pretty sure most people know that this is Harry Chapin.. However, this is the first link that comes up when looking up Cats in the cradle. CHILL

Got to hear this live in, gee, 1978 maybe. Bought a poetry book he had for sale. During this tour he had a full band and his brother Tommy was with him. Got to meet Tom several years later a great guy. This song, I lived it and learned from it now I'm a single parent and my 16 y/o lives with me. He is the light of my life. He cant relate to the song, thank God!. HC change one life, I know that for a fact. I'm living proof.

@coughlinkelly both wrote about their fathers. Well technically Harry Chapin wrote about his wife's ex husbands father but you get what i mean
