I can't believe they used to drive these small rolling death traps at Daytona.
It seems that in the 70's, 80's and 90's there was not one shred of concern for the saftey of drivers and pit crew members alike. Very Sad that racers have to die to get racing organizations to care and invest money into safer cars

Car safety was not so good then. now a roll cage is low around the drivers door area to help with side impacts. Very sad to see this
