  • This song is so amazing...maybe I'm over thinking this, but the song reminds me of my view of the world now. The majority of the song is, to me, off putting, chaotic, scary, paranoid, representing how the world is today with all of the wars, religion, pointless killing and the confusion. It goes on and on. But sometimes I like to imagine and daydream of a better life in my head, one without the real ones' flaws, just to get away from it all. The guitar at the end helps me with this, so much..

  • Absolutely mesmerizing. Total derealization and depersonalization. I'm lost in time and place.

  • Man, I miss the ambient pieces Varg used to make... :(

  • this is dark folk if thats a genre

  • @herbblood717 Scary? No. Honestly, if you think this is black metal then you're a huge retard. Honestly, you're an insult to burzum fans, especially when varg himself said he doesn't make black metal anymore you fucking loser LOL.

  • The little acoustic part at the end is a perfect way to end this album, I nearly shed a tear.

  • @STimmortaI He may not be involved or interested with the black metal scene anymore, but the music is definitively black metal. If you have listened to Belus and Fallen and say that they are not black metal at all you seriously must not know what black metal is.

  • @noahballs This album isn't black metal at all. Neither was Belus. Varg Vikernes has stated multiple times that he doesn't want anything to do with black metal. Have a look at the library on the official burzum website.

  • Ritual music
