113 mph isnt showing hes making good power he should be trapping way higher than that even if the launch is horrible that thing should scream at 500 horse

Some slicks would help reflect the power he's making.

Not bad for first time. You know how jacked you get at the start line. It will take a few times at track to get use to it.  The mph shows he's making good power just have to put it down.

Before I wrote off mine I had 404 hp to the wheels and on a bad launch, with wheel spin and engine bog I could still do 13.0 or below. The car averaged 12.2@125. 500 hp on a bad day would net you at least a 12.4, slicks or not. Either way, not bad for a first run. I know how the nerves get. But if that's making 500 hp you need to get that thing a serious tune.

Stock turbo srt's under 300whp are in the 12s and a few in 11s STOCK TURBO

Man a 113 mph trap shows he's not putting 500 whp to the pavement...irregardless of traction / slicks. Did he change the tune...turn down the boost...check for leaks???
