Avery knocked on her brothers door and opened it when she heard a soft grumble. Which meant, in her brothers words, come in. "Hey Brat, me and Pey are going to the store to buy some popcorn."
To her surprise Brayden actually paused his game and turned his attention over to them. "Dressed like that?" He asked with a hint of suspicion in his voice.
"Well, it's a weekend and that's when all the men are- oh we don't need to explain for you!" Peyton huffed.
"Mhm..." Brayden said eyeing her down. "What about you?" He nodded towards Avery. "You have a boyfriend."
Avery played with the hem of her skirt and tried to think of something off the bat. Although the look her brother was giving her wasn't helping. "I'm going to help her out."
"Help her out?" He asked, obviously seeing through her lie. "Yeah, you'll understand when you're older. Now we'll be back shortly, just keep to yourself and don't go anywhere." She said about to close the door.
"Woah, woah, woah. Let me get this straight- you're leaving me alone??" Brayden asked just now catching on.
"Now you get it Einstein." And with that she closed to door and ran out the building.
"I can't believed that worked!!" Peyton squealed.
Avery shut the door behind her waved her hand for a taxi. "I know, he's a complete bone head."
Peyton jumped into the taxi and told him the directions. "Now all we have to do get to Sierra's house, stay there for a few hours then head over to Wilson Farms or something to buy groceries and go home."
"Wow you got it all planned out." Avery said surprised.
Peyton smiled. "Of course, honey. Don't act surprised, I do this all the time."
Avery rolled her eyes and giggled. This is going to be a good night.
