Although I deeply, deeply appreciate this clip( more than you could ever know), it is sad that Halle's went out of business, and they had to change the lyrics. How many of you remember watching this come on, right after Captain Penny, at like 4:55 ( or, was it 4:50?) The family Christmas tree lighted up, and all the excitement for Christmas, juts weeks away? All of this stuff brings tears to my eyes, and big lump in my throat.
Thank you for posting this, from the bottom of my heart.

@zeb2tone 4 times luck dude, but i still appreciate the few trips i had, i loved the planetarium, i still love all that stuff till this day, i can see why these things are important nowadays we grew up with our teachers fascination with science, they instilled that curiosity in us at a very young age we were the future off America and they spared no expense, they built thousands of bunker like school,s all across the country for us we need to do more for our youngsters, keep your children young.

Wow, you are the only other person ive talked to that's been there i went only twice, i moved allot army brat, didnt meet up with my elementary friends til jr high, i remember that bus ride i can still picture it till this day that was an exiting day wish i could remember more of it, we had to pack a lunch, i think it was Sacket or Kentucky elementary, lower west side, the school system was more than a place to be taught to read and wright fond memories.

I'll never ever forget this one! My mother walked me up to the bus stop on Madison Ave in Lakwood & took me to Halley's 7th floor to se him in the winter of 1956/57. It was wild! The attention to detail of his entire display still lives...if only in my memory. What a nice old man. I still have a soft spot in my heart for him. Can't help it. A real slice of Cleveland Americana!

Yea your right, we saw the last years of Americas age of innocence, we were taught to see the good in people even busyness's felt a responsibility to there customers they are or neighbors, we were no angels but there were lines that we didn't cross, today people act like they were born with all there knowledge and no one helped them get a thing, millions of very young people with nothing died on the premise that I would have done the same for them, i am grateful for there gift of faith, I owe.
