Some of the worst people in history were popes of the Catholic church. Just read the historical records! No man is above the law of God. And many popes were as sinful as a man can be. Is this the standard that God set for the world to follow and immulate?  I don't think so. The standard all men should immulate is the perfect Son of God. No church can set itself up as the standard barer of truth, be it Catholic, Protestant or any other denomination. Christ, and He alone, is the standard.

Praying to saints? Really! I thought the Scriptures tell us to pray to God through Jesus Christ? There is NOTHING in the Bible that tells us to pray to anyone but to God himself!! Hail Marys and such have no place in the true Christian experience. As blessed as Mary was, there is nothing to indiccate whatso ever, that Mary was conceived without SIN. NOTHING! If you say there is, then SHOW me from Scripture, not a Pope's decree or proclaimation. And Peter, as 1st Pope, not in God's eyes!!

The apostle Paul said there is ONE mediator between God and man, the MAN CHRIST JESUS. It is so clear by Scripture that no man can step in and be my advocate. We have one advocate with the FATHER, and that advocate is JESUS CHRIST.The Scriptures say believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, not by any pope, saint, or church. And according to Scripture we pray to ONE PERSON, and ONE PERSON only-our HEAVENLY FATHER through JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD. iT'S JUST THAT SIMPLE.

Many people ask others what religion are you? Many reply saying I'm Catholic or I'm Mormon, or I'm Jehovah Witness. The true response should be I am a folower of Jesus Christ and I am a Christian. What gives the Catholic Church fathers any right to call a non- catholic a anathema? Only the traditions of the Roman Church and it's heretical views do. Really, if the Word of God is not the standard for what we beleive, then we have no true standard. I follow no father but GOD THE FATHER.

It is true that Protestants are heretics and that they are under ANATHEMA. Sorry but that is how it is.

An ANATHEMA can not be lifted up until the Heretic rejects his heresy.

@truthfulreply: I hope u tell the Protestant also that he is a heretic. Because he does not believe when I say that ALL HAVE CONDEMNED HIS HERESIES.
