  • One of my favorite movies ! Just fantastic!

  • One of my faveriote movies. Rare to have such great fight scenes in a movie with a great story. Also one of the few movies where the sound is so absolutely awesome. MUST have a good stereo to get the most out of this movie.

  • @ReyhanSamitAlchemist I think in 1800s it wouldn't really exist. Though in middle ages Europe has great martial arts, its all documented in combat manuals.

  • If u think it's weird to have some kung-fu-like in 18th century France, don't : there's been fighting techniques developped in this part of the world since before J.C.. For example, the Lou Brancaille, created 2500 years ago, already used feet, fists, elbows, knees, but also head, locks and ground fighting.

  • watched it when it was released and i thoroughly enjoyed it. People who watch it today has seen this formula before, but that's the kicker; those other films got their ideas from this movie.

  • This was a good movie and no the monster was not a sorcerer but a lion. Good fights in the movie.

  • Terrible....Just finished watching it. Set in middleages France with modern Morrocain music..staring a native Canadian Indian, that knows martial arts....plus there are 2...2fight scenes, super cheezy digital graphics and a pretty dumb story line...save yourself the 2 and a half hours...i wish i had!!

  • Bu filmi cok seviyorum :)

  • Heard it was pretty lame how the wolf turned out be this sorcerer. It's based on the Beasts of Gevaudan, and those two were wolfdog hybrids, so this movie largely exaggerated it. It should've been two mega-HUGE wolves attacking people, at least.

  • this movie was completely rediculous. French kung fu!

  • Excellent movie. I'm not one to typically buy DVD's, but I'm going to have to go looking for this on blu-ray.

  • I fucking hate slow motion in action scenes.
