Westboro Baptist Church visits Brooklyn, NYC 9/26/09

Sept.26th 2009, They "preach" their hateful message across the street from the East Midwood Jewish Center.
Shouting is "Go Home Nazis" and "Your father is a whore" by Jewish community member who walked past WBC demonstrators several times.

@megacanner91 If this a debate as to what is more important in society science or religion, I'm just going to give up now..... You say science makes wars more deadly, well you need to ask yourself what causes wars in the first place, that's right RELIGION. Look at the crusades, many muslim and christian soldiers, women and children murdered in the name of GOD. Also, where would we be without science providing humanity with cures to diseases, viruses and infections? Religion gets us nowhere.

Meh your 14 yrs of catholic school failed to teach you the fundamental truth of Christianity, that salvation comes through Jesus alone. If you can not even grasp the basics what hope do you have of understanding anything else? Spiritual fail.

There is one problem with your argument, Christianity does not teach that at all. Christianity teaches that salvation comes from god, and god alone. Good deeds or "works" ,as the y are called in the Bible, are not enough to save you from damnation. We should do good for others not because they get us into heaven but because it is right.
