  • out of all the guitarists out there, i feel the most emotion from david gilmour's solos. it doesn't matter how fast you play, it matters how much feeling you put into it. just my opinion.

  • finally a soulfelt solo, this is how you play kids, it is the surest proof that faster is not equal to better

  • great solo !

  • @KritterMusicFuneral1 Anyone can be soulful with speed or if its done right as well as going slow. Some people just suck at telling the difference and some people suck at actually playing fast and ruin for those who are good at it. I'm a slower player myself, but I keep an open mind. You should too.

  • @KritterMusicFuneral1 On top of what I'm saying this video shows time and emotion, but don't assume that someone else playing fast has any less. If your good you put in your "10,000 hours" If anyone even has any idea what that means and some people learned expression and love for what they play regardless of what is generalized in. Of course this man has more than and of course many others do as well, but god damn...I hope someone understands that anything you say is meaningless.

  • These comments that speed is not proof to be equal or better or has no equivalent "emotion" "Feel" to it is plain ignorant. Think about what your saying and grow up. Sure some of those people just run scales fast and its average joe, but surely you can figure out that someone play lead regardless of the generalizes of it being fast can be just as soulful. Look up steffen Schackinger. He put in time and beauty in the carefully selected and times notes he hits. They are fast and slow and soulful.

  • David Crosby looks on, approvingly.

  • Epic is the word for David Gilmour's guitar solos. (Too bad the kids use it to describe everything from a thirty second conversation to a belch.) ;-) Seriously, though, as a guitar player, Gilmour reminds me to focus on the essential.

  • He's not of this world.

  • Im not even gay at all, but i'd fuck him.

  • this is so orgasmic, i switch it to porn when my mom walks in the room.

  • @Yamboozle im my opinion pink floyd are god
